Commonwealth North Presents: Off the Grid
Energy for a Sustainable Alaska
Wednesday, November 29th
7:30am-8:30am
Breakfast
The Petroleum Club of Anchorage (3301 C St.)
Commonwealth North presented a panel of experts to give an overview of what’s currently happening with renewable energy and energy efficiency in rural Alaska. The discussion included the challenges that rural Alaskans face in providing heat, electric and transportation energy for themselves, and how rural Alaska is becoming a test-bed for technologies that have worldwide application.
As a primer for this program, you may wish to review Commonwealth North’s energy report, Energy for a Sustainable Alaska – The Rural Conundrum.
