Introductions -- Study group members.

Goals for this Meeting -- Review overall status. Discuss outline of up-coming meetings. Debate our ideas as to appropriate roles and responsibilities of the University of Alaska.

Discussion Points -- Review the work plan……

• Effort began late April. We are now about 1/3 through the planned time frame. Who else can/should we hear from? Review study type, goals.
• Today debate our group’s ideas about the roles and responsibilities of UA. Next week discuss how best UA can fulfill these. The following week get into specific constraints.
• Discussion points Draft 3 dated July 1, 2002 is attached to help foster debate.
