Commonwealth North has created an Energy Action Coalition to address Alaska's critical energy needs. This group is chaired by Mary Ann Pease and Arden Page. 

Advocacy Coalitions provide continuity in support of recommendations from CWN studies. This program reaches the longer term goal of influencing public policy, in addition educating our members and the public.  

This Action Coalition identifies the critical components of Alaska's energy needs and develops policy guidelines and recommendations that provide the baseline for Legislative testimony and CWN's advocacy position going forward.  The intent of this group is pro-active policy discussion with an action plan to develop and communicate our direction and findings.
