Representative Ralph Samuels served as Majority Leader in the House in the 2007 session and held a seat on the Judiciary, Legislative Council and Oil and Gas committees. Rep. Samuels was also the chairman of the Legislative Budget and Audit Committee, the Legislature's lead committee on gasline development. Rep. Samuels presented a comprehensive look at the important elements of the gasline development process and what Alaska is facing in getting its gas moved to market. This was an opportunity to get the background on gaslines as the State enters into its next round of negotiations.
