On December 9th, CWN hosted, Legislative Agenda 2016, our 9th annual program with Alaska’s legislators. During the program, we asked participants to fill out a brief survey on how they thought the State should best close the fiscal gap. The bottom line of our unscientific survey: Most respondents believe the state should use a combination of spending cuts, use of Permanent Fund earnings, and new taxes on individuals.
