On July 17, 2015 Nick Szymoniak, Infrastructure Development Officer will meet with the Energy Action Coalition to discuss the Interior Energy Project.

The Interior Energy Project is a joint project between AIDEA, the Alaska Energy Authority and several state agencies to reduce air pollution and lower the cost of energy in Interior Alaska by enhancing the natural gas distribution infrastructure and supply chain. As part of this effort, the AIDEA board recently approved a resolution to purchase Pentex Alaska Natural Gas Company and its assets, including Fairbanks Natural Gas.
